I'm building a new PC with an MSI MAG X870E TOMAHAWK WIFI, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9070 XT. The system will mainly be used for gaming, with some Blender work as well. I'm comparing two Corsair 32GB kits running at DDR5-6000: one rated at CL28 and the other at CL30. They cost about the same, so which would be the better choice?

Before buying, check that the exact memory kit appears on the motherboard’s memory QVL. A supported DDR5-6000 kit should be a safer choice than a faster-looking kit that may require troubleshooting. If a CL36 kit on the QVL is considerably cheaper, it would also be perfectly reasonable for this X3D build.
If the price is basically identical, go with the CL28 kit. It has slightly better latency and may benchmark a little higher, although the difference in real-world gaming performance will be extremely small. Ryzen X3D processors generally benefit less from tight memory timings than standard CPUs, so don’t overspend just to move from CL30 to CL28.
The CL28 kit is the straightforward pick when both options cost the same, but don’t expect a noticeable difference while gaming. You could also compare prices with other reputable memory brands, since a DDR5-6000 CL30 kit from another manufacturer may offer nearly identical performance for less money.

Corsair can still be worth considering if the warranty and support are important to you. Their kits may cost more than competing brands, but their warranty service is generally viewed favorably.
