My iPad keeps receiving some of my text messages and phone calls instead of—or at the same time as—my iPhone. It seems to happen frequently while I'm asleep, before I've even checked my phone. I've already tried changing the forwarding and call-related settings I could find on both devices, but the iPad is still answering some calls and messages. What settings should I check to stop this completely?

On the iPhone, check Settings > Apps > Phone > Calls on Other Devices and turn off the iPad. Also go to Settings > Apps > Messages > Text Message Forwarding and disable the iPad there. If those are already off, also check whether iMessage or FaceTime is still enabled on the iPad; turning those off or signing out of the relevant Apple Account may stop it from receiving messages and calls.

Thanks, but both of those forwarding options are already disabled. I’ve changed so many message and call settings on both devices that I can’t remember everything I’ve tried.
