My iPad disconnects whenever the Wi‑Fi signal gets weak, and it does not reconnect automatically until I wake it from standby. I've already tried several troubleshooting steps without success. Are there any settings or practical fixes that could help it reconnect on its own?

The most reliable fix is improving the signal rather than changing something on the iPad. Try moving closer to the router, repositioning the router, or adding a mesh node or extender. Some routers are configured to disconnect devices when their signal becomes too weak, and the iPad may not reconnect until it wakes up. You can also try toggling Wi‑Fi off and back on when it happens.

Unfortunately, I can’t change the router’s location or improve the signal right now, so I was hoping there might be an iPad setting that could prevent this.
