I previously installed Ubuntu on my ASUS VivoBook, but I want to switch back to Windows 11 because I need support for VALORANT. I created a Windows 11 installation USB, but when I reach the drive-selection screen, the installer only detects the USB itself and not the laptop's internal SSD. How can I make the installer recognize the drive?

If the RST driver does not work, check the laptop’s firmware settings for a storage option such as Intel VMD or RST. Disabling VMD/RST and switching the controller to AHCI can make the SSD visible, but changing this setting can affect an existing installation, so back up anything important first and use the driver method when possible.
Your VivoBook may be using Intel Rapid Storage Technology (RST), so Windows Setup needs the matching storage driver before it can detect the SSD. Download the RST or storage driver for your exact laptop model from ASUS, then extract the files and copy the extracted driver folder to the Windows installer USB. The downloaded .exe usually cannot be loaded directly. At the drive-selection screen, choose “Load driver,” browse to the extracted folder, and select the appropriate driver. The SSD should appear after it loads.
I downloaded the correct driver, but it came as an .exe file. I copied it to the USB, and the Load Driver window doesn’t show it.
