Assassin's Creed Black Flag keeps crashing during resynchronization with the DirectX 12 error 0x887A0006. The system has an RTX 5090, a Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 32 GB of DDR5 memory, and the game is installed on an SSD. The graphics drivers are already updated. What else should I try to fix the crashes?

That error usually points to the graphics driver or the GPU becoming unstable. Since the driver is already current, try doing a clean driver installation rather than just updating over the existing one. It may also be worth testing the game with DX11, disabling overlays and GPU overclocks, and verifying the game files.

The drivers are already updated to the latest version, so I’ll try a clean reinstall and the other stability checks next.
