I bought a 96GB kit made from two 48GB DDR5-6400 CL32 modules. The memory uses an Intel XMP profile, while my system is based on an ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E Gaming WiFi motherboard and a Ryzen 9 9950X3D. I'm new to the difference between XMP and EXPO and would rather not replace the kit during the current high RAM prices. Can I load the XMP profile and manually reduce the memory speed to 6000 MT/s? If so, what timings, voltages, and Infinity Fabric settings would be a sensible starting point for stability and performance?
