My PC was working normally yesterday, but today Windows 11 has no audio. Several apps report that no audio device or driver is installed. I checked for driver updates through Windows, but it says everything is already up to date. Windows currently shows a headphone device, although I'm not sure whether it recognizes my Razer headset. The headset is plugged into an adapter, and the speaker icon shows full volume without a mute symbol. I've already restarted the computer. How can I confirm that Windows is detecting the correct headset and restore the audio?

Since the volume icon looks normal, Windows may simply be sending audio to the wrong output device. Right-click the speaker icon, open Sound settings, and select your Razer headset as the output. Then check More sound settings and make sure the headset is enabled and set as the default device. If it doesn’t appear, unplug the adapter, reconnect it, and try another USB or audio port. You can also open Device Manager, expand Sound, video and game controllers, uninstall the affected audio device, and restart Windows so it detects it again.

I’ve restarted it and the headset is plugged in, but I’m not sure Windows is identifying the adapter as the Razer headset. I’ll check the output device and try another port.
