I have an RTX 5060 Ti 16GB and an RTX 5080 installed in the same PC. Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora keeps launching on the 5060 Ti, even though my main monitor is connected to the 5080. I set the game to use the 5080 in NVIDIA Control Panel and Windows Graphics settings, disabled hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, and reinstalled the drivers, but none of that helped. The launch option "-GraphicsAdapter=0" works through Steam but not through Ubisoft Connect. The only reliable workaround so far is disabling the 5060 Ti, which I would rather not do every time. Is there another way to force the game to use the 5080?

The simplest option is to run the game with only the 5080 enabled. Multi-GPU setups do not combine the cards for most modern games, and some titles do not handle adapter selection correctly. Since the game works when the 5060 Ti is disabled, that strongly suggests a compatibility or device-selection issue rather than a driver installation problem. You could also consider connecting all displays to the 5080 if it has enough outputs, which may reduce the chance of the game choosing the other adapter.
Since your main monitor is already connected to the 5080, the usual display-cable explanation probably does not apply. With two NVIDIA cards installed, some games or launchers still select the wrong adapter and ignore the Windows and driver preferences. Try setting the preference for the actual game executable rather than only the Ubisoft launcher, and check the game’s own configuration files or launch options for its adapter selection. If that still fails, disabling the 5060 Ti may be the only consistently reliable workaround for this title.
The primary display is connected directly to the 5080; only my second and third monitors use the 5060 Ti. I have already tried changing the game’s graphics preference, but I may need to target the actual executable instead of the launcher.
I have two GPUs because I found both at unusually good prices and my motherboard supports them. I would prefer to keep the 5060 Ti installed, but I may move the other monitors to the 5080 if that helps.
