I'm planning a new PC build and am looking for reliable websites or physical stores around the Tokyo and Kanagawa area. I've checked Dospara and Koubou, but their websites are difficult to navigate, and Amazon seems relatively expensive. Are there better places to buy new parts, and are marketplaces such as Facebook Marketplace, Mercari, Yahoo! Flea Market, or Yahoo! Auctions worth checking for used components?

For physical stores, Akihabara is probably your best bet. Dospara, Tsukumo, and Koubou all have shops there, although some parts can still be overpriced unless there’s a sale. For used hardware, check Hard-Off, Janpara, Mercari, and Yahoo! Auctions. Rakuten can also be useful for comparing prices on new parts. Just keep in mind that PC components in Japan are often more expensive than in the US or some other countries.

Thanks, I’m heading to Akihabara this weekend, so I’ll check those stores and compare prices while I’m there.
