I recently bought a new PC and installed several cracked games before realizing the security risks. I have since deleted those games and only install legitimate software, but I'm worried that a crack may have left behind malware or other unwanted changes. How can I check and clean the system thoroughly? I'd prefer methods other than manually editing the registry, and I want the highest possible confidence that nothing malicious remains.

A full wipe and reinstall is the most reliable answer when you don’t know what the cracked software may have changed. Antivirus scans can be useful for finding common threats, but a clean installation is the safer choice when certainty matters.
If you need the closest thing to 100% confidence, back up only personal documents, erase the system drive, and perform a clean Windows installation from official installation media. Then change important passwords from a known-clean device and reinstall applications only from legitimate sources.
A software crack and a virus aren’t exactly the same thing, although cracked installers can contain malware. Deleting the game may remove the obvious files, but it doesn’t prove that anything bundled with it is gone.
