How can I document recurring BSODs to support a refund claim?

I have an ASUS Vivobook M1605YA that has been randomly crashing with blue screens since its third or fourth month. There doesn't seem to be a consistent pattern. I've returned it to the store four times, but each time they said they couldn't find a fault and simply reset the laptop. The crashes continued after the latest repair. I now want a refund, and the store says they'll consider it if I provide proof of the problem. Is there a safe way to capture evidence or reproduce the crashes without faking anything or making the laptop worse?

You shouldn’t try to fake or deliberately trigger a crash, since that could damage your data and weaken your warranty claim. Windows usually records useful evidence automatically. Check C:WindowsMinidump for crash-dump files, and also look in Reliability Monitor and Event Viewer around the time of each crash. Copy the dumps somewhere safe and provide them to the store or a technician for analysis.

Since the blue screen disappears quickly, configure Windows to stop automatically restarting after a crash. Go to System Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery, then clear “Automatically restart.” You can also set it to create small memory dumps. That should give you time to photograph the stop code, while the dump file preserves more technical details.

Keep a dated record of every failure, including what you were doing, the stop code if visible, and any repair paperwork. If it happens again, start recording with your phone, but don’t install prank crash tools or intentionally corrupt the system. A recording combined with crash dumps and the repeated repair history is much stronger evidence than a staged BSOD.
