I'm planning to build my first desktop after gaming on a Dell gaming laptop for the past few years, but I don't know much about choosing compatible parts. My budget is roughly 6,000 Polish złoty, and the PC will mainly be used for gaming. I'd like to play at 1440p if possible. I mostly play League of Legends, with occasional sessions of co-op games, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, and Cyberpunk 2077. I'm leaning toward the newer AM5 platform and would appreciate advice on the CPU, graphics card, memory, and the rest of the parts.

You can also compare complete parts lists from local retailers before buying, since prices in Poland may differ significantly from US pricing. An AM4 system could provide more performance per złoty right now, but it is an older platform with limited upgrade options. Since you prefer AM5, it’s reasonable to spend a little more on DDR5 and keep the system easier to upgrade later. Make sure the CPU, motherboard, memory, cooler, case clearance, and power supply are all compatible before ordering.
For your budget, AM5 makes sense if you want a newer upgrade path. Aim for 32GB of DDR5 memory in a 2x16GB kit, and prioritize the graphics card since it matters most for 1440p gaming. A mid-range AMD card with at least 12GB of VRAM, preferably 16GB, should offer strong value. League will run easily on almost any modern CPU, while Cyberpunk is the game that should guide your GPU choice. Choose a reliable power supply, a motherboard with the features you need, and a decent tower cooler rather than overspending on the case or motherboard.
