I'm choosing between two PCs that both cost about €800 and have otherwise similar specifications. One uses a Ryzen 7 5700X with an RTX 5060 Ti 8GB, while the other has a Core Ultra 5 225F with an RTX 5060. We tested the Core Ultra system in CS2 and it often stayed around 200–230 FPS instead of reaching 240 FPS. Its 1% lows were frequently near 80 FPS and sometimes lower, while GPU usage reached roughly 90% and CPU usage was around 50%. Is that performance normal, and would the Ryzen 7 5700X system realistically achieve at least 350 FPS with 200 FPS 1% lows?

The result is difficult to judge without the full test settings, resolution, RAM speed, background processes, and exact GPU models. CS2 can be heavily CPU- and configuration-dependent, and total CPU usage can look low even when one or two cores are limiting performance. The 5700X may perform better or similarly in this game, but 350 FPS with 200 FPS 1% lows is not guaranteed. The faster RTX 5060 Ti will mainly help when the GPU is the bottleneck, while the 5060 system may be limited by its processor or memory in competitive settings.
