Recently, screenshots and video clips from some games that don't support HDR, such as Isle and Dead by Daylight, started looking badly oversaturated or otherwise distorted. In-game HDR also seems to be active: when I disable HDR in the system settings while playing, the image becomes extremely desaturated. This didn't happen before, and Auto HDR is already turned off. Could something else be forcing HDR, and how can I fix it?

It could be worth checking whether the display itself has an automatic HDR mode enabled, but this may also be an operating-system capture issue. In one similar case, the problem was caused by the Game Bar installation being removed or corrupted. Reinstalling or redownloading Game Bar fixed the screenshots and clips.
