We previously used Four Cornerstone as our Oracle partner and paid them $15,000 in March for a MySQL license renewal. Work with Oracle separately to get the renewal current through a different authorized reseller, but keep the refund dispute focused on Four Cornerstone. Oracle can document that the order was never submitted, which should help support your claim. Keep every record and avoid relying on phone conversations without written follow-up.
A lawyer is the right escalation path if Four Cornerstone stops responding. Depending on your contract and location, options could include a formal demand letter, small-claims or civil action, and filing a creditor claim if the company is insolvent. Also review the agreement for refund terms, payment instructions, governing law, and any dispute-resolution requirements.
