I found an Intel Arc A750 listed for $130 and am considering it as an upgrade from my GTX 1650. Older reviews often mention driver problems in DirectX 11 and older games, but I've heard those issues have improved significantly with newer drivers. I'd like to know whether the card is reliable enough today and worth trying at this price.
My system has an i7-13700F, 32GB of DDR5-6400 CL32 memory, and 4TB of storage. I mainly use the PC for work and productivity, with occasional gaming. The games I play are mostly older AAA titles and Riot Games titles, which tend to be more CPU-dependent. I'm not looking for a high-end GPU, but I would like a meaningful improvement over the GTX 1650. An RX 6600 is also available for around the same price, although I've heard about microstuttering and frame drops with some Riot games on AMD cards.

It’s a solid budget card for 1440p gaming. Competitive games can reach very high frame rates, and lighter titles may run smoothly at 4K as well. Just keep your expectations reasonable for older APIs and make sure your system has the platform features Arc benefits from, such as Resizable BAR enabled.
I’ve had positive results with several Arc cards, including the A310, A380, A580, and A770. The A750 should offer a better balance than the A580, and $130 is a reasonable price. The newer B-series cards perform better in some areas, but they generally cost closer to $200 or more.
Performance is generally somewhere around an RTX 3060 and, depending on the game, can approach an RTX 3060 Ti. Since those cards cost about $200 in your area, the A750 looks like a strong value at $130.
At $130, the A750 is a very good upgrade from a GTX 1650. Intel’s drivers have improved a lot, and you’re unlikely to find a faster new-to-you GPU for that price. For your mix of older games and competitive titles, it should be a worthwhile step up.
The 8GB of VRAM shouldn’t be a major limitation for the games and applications you described. Since you’re not targeting demanding modern games or heavy local workloads, the A750 should have enough memory for your use.
