I mainly play FPS and strategy games, along with newer CPU-heavy titles like Bodycam, where maintaining a steady 60 FPS can be difficult at high or ultra settings. I don't plan to move to the AM5 platform for the next few years, so I'm considering a Ryzen 7 5800X3D priced around €320–€370 in my area. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade, especially for 1080p gaming and CPU-heavy titles?

Before installing it, update the motherboard BIOS and confirm that your board supports the processor. Also make sure your cooler is adequate. A Thermalright Peerless Assassin or a similar tower cooler is more than capable, while the basic stock cooler that came with some Ryzen chips is not suitable for this CPU.
For €320–€370, it’s only worth it if you plan to keep the AM4 system for several more years and regularly play CPU-limited games. Since you’re not planning an AM5 upgrade soon, the 5800X3D is a sensible end-of-platform upgrade and should pair well with the 5060 Ti.
