My Windows 11 laptop was connecting normally yesterday, but today it says no networks are available. Airplane mode is turned off. I've already reinstalled and updated the network drivers and tried a network reset, but nothing changed. There's no physical Wi‑Fi switch on the laptop. What else should I check?

Check the wireless adapter in Device Manager first. Make sure it’s enabled and doesn’t show a warning icon. Then open the adapter settings and confirm that Internet Protocol Version 4 (IPv4) is enabled. You can also disable and re-enable the adapter to refresh it.
Since it worked yesterday, check whether anything changed after shutdown or an update. Also look closely at the taskbar network icon and confirm Wi‑Fi itself is enabled, not just that airplane mode is off. If the adapter is missing or disabled in Device Manager, that points to an adapter or hardware issue.
Try connecting the laptop directly to the router with Ethernet, using a USB-to-Ethernet adapter if necessary. That can get you online temporarily and help determine whether the problem is limited to the laptop’s Wi‑Fi hardware or settings.
There doesn’t seem to be a physical Wi‑Fi switch, airplane mode is off, and Device Manager shows IPv6 enabled. I’ll check the adapter status and IPv4 settings next.
