I'm looking for some advice as I'm upgrading my prebuilt Acer PO3-620 PC. Here's what I've got: it has an Intel Core i7-10700 CPU, an AMD Radeon RX 7900 GRE GPU, and 64GB of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 RAM. The issue is, the proprietary Acer motherboard doesn't have a standard 24-pin ATX connector, and I just realized my new 750W power supply isn't compatible either. I'm thinking of getting a new motherboard, but I'm also planning to swap out the small case for something larger. What should I be aware of when choosing a new motherboard and case? Is this really possible to do? I hope my questions aren't too silly!

Changing the case shouldn't be a problem, as most bigger cases can accommodate smaller motherboards. Just be cautious about downsizing, as that can be tricky. For your situation, I'd recommend finding a case that's spacious enough for your new power supply and motherboard. You can go for something like the Fractal Pop Air, which is a solid mid-range choice. Just make sure your components fit well!
Haha, I feel you! My old case struggled with fitting in a new PSU too. That's why I'm all about making sure you have space to work with. Don't sweat it - just pick a case that looks good to you and meets your component needs!
