My current system has a Ryzen 5 5600X, GTX 1660 Super, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, and a 1440p monitor. Most of the older games I play run well, but games like World of Warcraft are starting to feel rough. I originally bought the 1660 Super as a temporary card while waiting for newer GPUs, but I never ended up upgrading it. I'm thinking the graphics card is the obvious weak point. What would be a sensible upgrade to give this PC more life without spending an unreasonable amount?

If you prefer Nvidia, a 5060 Ti would also be worth considering at a good price, although the higher-tier 5070 models cost considerably more. The ideal choice depends on your budget and how many years you want to wait before upgrading again, but there’s no urgent need to replace the motherboard, memory, or CPU alongside the GPU.
If World of Warcraft is the main concern, remember that large raids and busy areas can be CPU-heavy. A 5800X3D—or a 5700X3D if you can find one at a good price—could help with minimum frame rates. I’d still replace the 1660 Super first unless your current GPU is already meeting your target settings and frame rate.
You don’t need an especially powerful card for 1440p WoW or older games. A previous-generation used or new GPU would already be a major improvement over the 1660 Super, and something around the 9060 XT could be more than enough for your needs. The rest of the build is still balanced for this kind of upgrade.
