Is anyone else having trouble signing in to the Microsoft 365 web portal at https://m365.cloud.microsoft? Several users are receiving a "Something went wrong" error. Direct access to Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive still works, so the issue appears limited to the main portal. We're also seeing a noticeable increase in outage reports. Are others seeing the same behavior, and does it seem tied to a particular region or tenant?

If Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive work when opened directly, the problem may be limited to the Microsoft 365 portal layer rather than authentication or the individual services themselves. I’d check the service health dashboard and monitor for tenant-specific sign-in or MFA events.
The impact seems inconsistent. Several people report that the portal works normally for them, while only certain users or tenants are receiving errors. That points to an intermittent or regional service issue rather than a complete outage.
Yes, it appears to be affecting users in multiple regions, including parts of the United States and Europe. Some tenants are completely unable to sign in, while others load slowly or trigger repeated authentication and MFA prompts.
There are also reports of intermittent Office installation problems during Intune laptop builds, but it’s not clear that those are related to the portal outage. I’d treat the CDN or installation issue as a separate problem until Microsoft confirms a common incident.

That matches what we’re seeing: the support desk is getting reports from only some users, while other accounts work normally.
