Azure release information can be difficult to track across different services, so AzureCharts was useful because it brought Azure, Azure DevOps, and Fabric updates together in one simple dashboard. The site now shows a login wall and says access is limited for performance and reliability reasons. Does anyone know what changed, whether access is temporary, or how interested users can apply?

The site says access is currently restricted to keep the service reliable. That probably means the operator is limiting traffic while dealing with performance issues or large-scale automated scraping. I couldn’t find a clear public application process, though.
I haven’t seen a public explanation beyond the notice on the site. There doesn’t appear to be an obvious way to request access, so the best guess is that the service is being rolled out selectively or is temporarily closed while changes are made.
It’s definitely a loss of convenience if the dashboard was intended to be a quick public reference. I’d keep an eye out for an announcement or an access form, since the current message doesn’t explain whether accounts will be available to everyone later.
Automated scraping isn’t new, so there may be a newer hosting, cost, or capacity problem behind the change. Hopefully the login requirement is temporary.
