I'm planning to build a PC in Serbia with a budget of around €2,000. It will be used for 1440p gaming, including Red Dead Redemption 2 at optimized Ultra settings, as well as 3D rendering, video editing, software engineering, and other productivity work.

I'd appreciate suggestions for improving the build, especially the processor, power supply, and cooling. For this workload, how important are core count, clock speed, and the CPU generation? What PSU characteristics should I prioritize besides wattage and efficiency rating, and which manufacturers or models are worth considering? I'm leaning toward an AIO cooler, but I'm also open to a good air cooler. I'd also like advice on which SSD would be a better long-term choice.

For gaming, the RTX 5070 is already a strong match for 1440p. If you plan to keep the graphics card for many years, a model with more VRAM could be worth considering, but only if the price difference is reasonable. I’d also favor a reputable Gold-rated PSU with a good internal design, modern protections, a solid warranty, and low noise. The listed Cooler Master Bronze model would not be my first choice.
For serious rendering and other heavily threaded productivity work, it may be worth moving from the Ryzen 7 7700X to a newer Ryzen 9000-series processor, depending on local pricing. A dual-tower air cooler or a 240mm-or-larger AIO should handle the CPU. The RTX 5070 does not require an extremely large PSU; a quality 650W unit would probably be sufficient, although 750W gives more headroom. Use an independent PSU quality-tier list rather than relying only on the Bronze, Gold, or Platinum label.
A Ryzen 5 9600X could be a sensible value option, while the 7700X still makes sense if you need its extra cores and find it significantly cheaper. For cooling, I’d skip the AIO unless you specifically want one for appearance or case clearance. A large air cooler such as the be quiet! Pure Rock Pro 3 or DeepCool AK620 should be adequate and is simpler and usually quieter over the long term. Check the case’s cooler-height and radiator-clearance limits before buying.
Don’t overspend on the motherboard at the expense of the CPU, GPU, SSD, or PSU. Some newer Intel options can perform well in Blender or CAD for the money, but their platform may have limited future upgrade potential. If choosing that route, a reasonably priced B-series board makes more sense than an expensive overclocking board. Also, 32GB of RAM is usable, but 64GB would be a worthwhile upgrade for 3D scenes, video editing, and development workloads if it fits the budget.
I’d replace the Kingston NV3. That drive can use QLC NAND, has relatively low endurance, and may slow down substantially once it fills or after sustained use. A TLC-based NVMe drive would be a safer OS and work-drive choice, such as a Verbatim Vi3000 or Samsung 990 EVO Plus. If the budget allows, consider a faster or larger primary drive for editing and project files.
