Whenever I enable Secure Boot in the firmware settings, my PC refuses to boot. It worked normally around two months ago, but after I stopped using the computer for a while, the problem began. My drivers are current and the system drive uses GPT. I would prefer to troubleshoot the issue rather than reinstall Windows from scratch. What should I check?

Try disabling Secure Boot temporarily, booting into Windows, and installing any available Windows and motherboard firmware updates. Also check whether your system’s Secure Boot certificates or keys need updating, then enable Secure Boot again. Some older Secure Boot certificates began expiring recently, which can cause previously working systems to stop booting.
Some certificates expired in June. Check Microsoft’s Secure Boot certificate update instructions and follow the steps for your Windows version and hardware.
