Can I Trade In Multiple Devices Toward One Apple Purchase?

I'm trying to trade in an iPhone 15 Pro, Apple Watch Ultra, and an iPad Air toward the purchase of a single Duo. Apple support has given me conflicting answers: one representative said multiple devices are allowed, while another said only one device can be applied to a purchase. Does Apple limit checkout trade-ins to one device, and can the remaining trade-in value be used toward the same purchase another way?

Apple generally allows only one device trade-in to be applied directly to a purchase. You can trade in the other devices separately and receive Apple Gift Cards, then use those balances toward the purchase if the checkout system accepts them.

You may also want to compare the offers from reputable trade-in or resale companies. They sometimes pay more than the manufacturer’s program and can avoid the hassle of coordinating several separate trade-ins.

That matches my experience. I traded in one device during the purchase and completed separate trade-ins for the others beforehand. I then applied the gift card balances to the order. It’s probably safer to confirm that the gift cards can be used with the specific purchase before sending anything in.

So the gift cards can be combined with the one direct trade-in? That’s what I’m hoping to do, since sending everything in without confirmation feels risky.
