I think I disabled or removed the Google Play Store from my Samsung Android phone, possibly because I was trying to avoid installing more apps. Now I need the store to download the support app for my new solar panels, but I can't find it anywhere. When I visit the Play Store website in a browser, it recognizes my Google Account and phone, but remotely installing an app never actually completes. I also checked a third-party software download site but couldn't find a trustworthy official installer. What's the safest way to restore or re-enable the Play Store?

Unless the phone was rooted or the app was removed using advanced computer tools, the Play Store should still be part of the phone. Check the full app list, including disabled system apps, rather than downloading an installer from an unofficial site. Re-enabling the built-in app is the safer option.
You probably didn’t permanently delete it. The Play Store is normally a built-in system app, so it may simply be disabled. Open Settings, go to Apps, search for Google Play Store, and choose Enable or Turn on. After that, open it and let it update if prompted.
