How Can I Use My Tablet to Stream Movies on a Monitor for My Neighbor?

Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on how to set up a movie-watching experience for my neighbor, who is quite elderly and loves period dramas. I live in a wheelchair, so I can't visit her at her place, but she can come to mine since it's accessible. She's not very tech-savvy and currently watches DVDs on her player. I'd love to stream movies from my tablet to my monitor, but my tablet is an old Samsung S6, which only has one USB port and needs to be charged frequently. I'm unsure how to connect it to the monitor via HDMI or if a Bluetooth solution would even work. It would be wonderful for her to enjoy some films here, but I can't fit a TV in my space. Any suggestions on how I might pull this off?

A Chromecast could work well for you. It allows you to stream content from your tablet to the monitor, effectively making it a Smart TV! Just double-check that any media player you consider is Google-certified, as not all of them support Netflix properly.

You might want to consider a TV stick like Roku or Amazon Firestick that has Netflix built into it. You can connect it to the monitor and your Wi-Fi. Since she's already used to switching between her DVD player and a TV, it shouldn’t be too hard for her to adapt to this new setup! Just a thought!

I can't actually visit her since I'm in a wheelchair and she doesn’t have an accessible home for me. So, I need a solution that works right here at my place.
