I'm planning a PC upgrade mainly for 1440p gaming. My current system has a Ryzen 5 5600GT, RTX 2060 Super, ASUS Prime B550-PLUS motherboard, 32GB of DDR4 RAM, two SSDs totaling about 600GB, a 1TB hard drive, and a Fractal Design Focus G case. I'm running Windows 11 Pro, but I'm not sure which CPU cooler or power supply I have. I found a 16GB RX 9060 XT OC model for €518, while a 16GB RX 7800 XT costs about €640. My overall budget is roughly €1,100. Which graphics card offers the better value, and what else should I upgrade to avoid performance bottlenecks at 1440p?

The 16GB RX 9060 XT at €518 sounds like the more sensible value option, assuming the model has a decent cooler. It should be a noticeable upgrade over the RTX 2060 Super and is well suited to 1440p. The RX 7800 XT will be faster, but paying around €122 more may not be worthwhile unless you want higher settings, higher refresh rates, or extra performance for demanding games.
Your Ryzen 5 5600GT should work with either card, especially for regular 1440p gaming where the GPU is usually the limiting component. You probably don’t need to replace the motherboard or RAM. If you later upgrade the CPU, a Ryzen 7 5700X3D would be a strong drop-in option for the AM4 platform, but I’d prioritize the graphics card first.
Before buying, identify the power supply. A quality 650W unit should generally be enough for the RX 9060 XT, while the RX 7800 XT is more comfortable with a good 700W to 750W PSU.
