Hey everyone! I recently built a gaming PC for my son with some pretty solid specs: an AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and a DeepCool AK400 Digital Pro cooler. While everything runs smoothly, I've noticed that during intense gaming sessions, like playing Fortnite or CS2, the cooler's temperature rises to around 90°C, which lights up the red indicator on the display. When he's just hanging out in-game, the temp gets down to the low 80s. Is this temperature range normal for this type of build? I'm worried it might damage the hardware or that I might have set something up incorrectly. Any insights would be appreciated!

90°C is definitely on the high side for a Ryzen 5 7500F. It’s worth checking the cooler installation. Make sure there’s no plastic film or tape preventing good contact and that thermal paste is applied properly. If those aren’t the issue, remounting the cooler could help.
I ordered the PC from a gaming company and didn’t choose an overclock option. I haven’t checked the cooler yet since I didn’t build it myself. Maybe I should take a look?
