I'm planning to play Elden Ring at 1080p on maximum settings with ray tracing disabled. My system has an Intel i5-12400F, one 32GB DDR4 stick running in single-channel mode, and an RTX 5060 Ti with 16GB of VRAM. I found benchmark results, but many don't specify whether they used single- or dual-channel memory. Will this setup run the game smoothly, and how much performance might I lose from using one RAM stick?

The single stick of RAM will work, but dual-channel memory would be better. Compared with two matching sticks, you might lose roughly 3–5% average performance, and the 1% and 0.1% lows could be noticeably worse. It should still be perfectly playable, though.
You should be fine, including with the 8GB graphics card model, although the 16GB version gives you more headroom for newer games and higher-resolution textures.
That setup can run games that are considerably more demanding than Elden Ring. At 1080p, you should be able to play comfortably; just consider adding a second matching RAM stick later if you want smoother frame-time performance.
Yes, that hardware should handle Elden Ring at 1080p with maximum settings and ray tracing off without a problem. The RTX 5060 Ti and i5-12400F are more than capable for this game.

I ended up getting the 16GB version of the RTX 5060 Ti, so the graphics card should have plenty of VRAM for my target settings.
