My main Asus VG27AQ5A monitor randomly goes black for about 5–10 seconds roughly twice a day, but there is no consistent time or trigger. The display returns on its own, games keep running, and screen recordings remain normal because the blackout is not captured by streaming software. HWiNFO shows no WHEA errors.
My system has a Ryzen 7 5700X3D, 32 GB of 3200 MHz RAM, an RTX 3060 Ti using driver 616.92, an MSI B550-A Pro motherboard, and a Corsair RM750 power supply. The monitor is running at 200 Hz without overclocking. I also have a Gigabyte G24F that is usually turned off.
I replaced the original DisplayPort cable with a Ugreen cable, updated the graphics driver from 616.64 to 616.92, and disabled G-Sync, but the problem still happens. It may have started around the driver update, although I am not completely certain. What else should I check?

It could also be an issue with the monitor itself or electrical interference. A similar setup experienced brief black screens whenever another device was switched on, and changing cables, power conditioning, and the UPS did not help. Replacing the monitors ultimately fixed it. If firmware, another cable, another GPU port, and a lower refresh rate do not help, test this monitor with another computer or try a different monitor on the same system.
Since the blackout is not visible in the recording and the games do not crash, this sounds more like the DisplayPort connection briefly losing sync and renegotiating rather than a GPU failure. Try running the monitor at 144 Hz for a few days. If the issue disappears, the problem is probably related to the 200 Hz link, the cable, or a particular DisplayPort port. You could also test another port and check the monitor's firmware.
I found a note about a possible monitor firmware update and will try that first before lowering the refresh rate.
