Hey everyone, I'm having a serious issue with my laptop. When I power it on, I'm getting a message that says I need to install software on my hard drive, along with the error code 3F0. I managed to boot my laptop using a USB drive that has Tails on it, but I can't get Windows to start at all. I need to resolve this by Monday since I'm starting a new job working from home. I've already checked the hard drive connection by taking the laptop apart, and everything seems to be in order. However, when I look at my partitions in Tails, my hard drive appears as an unknown partition. Is there any way to install or restore Windows from Tails? It prompts me to apply an image to the partition, but there's nothing available to apply. Any help would be hugely appreciated!

It sounds like you might be running into issues due to encryption or some special features of your Windows installation, which could explain why your hard drive is showing as unknown. Have you considered that your hard drive may have failed? The error 3F0 usually means your computer can’t find a bootable device, typically the hard drive or SSD. Also, check if there is an EFI partition present on your drive, as that could provide more clues.
