I've been having this frustrating issue where my computer sometimes takes an incredibly long time to start up. Instead of the usual Windows Lock Screen loading from sleep, I just see a black screen that shows the Gigabyte logo and the Ultra Durable logo. It takes anywhere from 10 to 25 minutes to finally get to the Lock Screen. I'm not very tech-savvy, so any suggestions on what I should check or update to solve this would be greatly appreciated!

One thing you can check is if your system is responsive after booting up. If it takes a long time just to right-click on the desktop, then that's a sign something could be off underneath the surface.
This could be due to a couple of reasons: software issues or hardware problems. For software, it might be outdated Windows or drivers, or even an older BIOS version. Updating the BIOS, drivers, and Windows might help, or if that doesn't work, you could try doing a clean install from a USB drive (there's a good guide out there for that). For hardware, a failing drive or problems with the motherboard might be the culprits. I'd recommend getting a diagnostic done at a service shop before buying new parts blindly.
Can you tell us more about your machine? For example, if it's something like an Optiplex 790 from Dell, that gives us a lot of insight. If you're using an old spinning disk drive instead of an SSD, that could be a major factor in slow startups. But knowing more about your setup would help a lot!
I suggest starting with reinstalling your operating system if you haven't done that yet; it could clean up a lot of potential issues all at once!
Try disabling the 'fast startup' option in your power settings. You can do this by going to Control Panel > Power Options > Choose what the power buttons do. Make sure to uncheck 'Turn on fast startup' and save your changes!
I think it's just a regular HDD, not an SSD. Maybe that's part of the problem?
