Hey everyone! I'm about to buy my first gaming PC, and here are the specs I'm considering: RTX 4060 (8GB), Gigabyte A620M H motherboard with 6400MHz DDR5 RAM, 16GB DDR5 RAM (1x16), 1TB SSD, Ryzen 5 7500F, Fsp NCS cooler, and a Koori 24.5" monitor with a 1ms response time and 170Hz refresh rate. The whole setup is around $950, and I have an additional $170 for peripherals like a keyboard. I'd really appreciate any equipment suggestions or tips from you all! Thanks a lot! 😀

Instead of the RTX 4060, see if you can find the Intel Arc B580 for a better price. People have mixed opinions about the 4060, mainly due to its 8GB VRAM being a bit limiting.
Honestly, the 4060 isn’t the best choice and 8GB is pretty low. Try to look for a used 3070 or 3080 if you can. Dual-channel RAM is really important, so aim for 2x8GB instead of 1x16GB. Good luck with your build!
I totally understand the hesitation around the 4060. My laptop with a 4060 runs all games at 1440p and over 60 fps fine! But definitely consider your options if you can stretch your budget a bit.
I’d recommend getting DDR5 RAM at 6000MHz and trying to go for 32GB. The 6400MHz version is nice, but it’s pricier without a huge performance boost.
Definitely go for a dual-channel setup with two sticks for better performance!
Check out the Yunzii AL66 keyboard; it’s awesome! Great value and sound for the price. You won’t regret it!
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll take a look at it. 😀
Yeah, but how well does it handle demanding titles or high settings?
