I accidentally signed in to an e-commerce website with my friend's phone number while my browser was signed in to my account. Since then, my email address keeps appearing in the email field when my friend uses his own phone number to sign in on various websites. We want to completely separate our information. Is this caused by browser autofill, saved account data, or something else, and how can we remove it?

When the email appears in the field, click or highlight the suggestion and remove it using the browser’s delete option. You may need to repeat this for the saved email address, phone number, and address entries. Also inspect the browser’s password manager and payment or contact information settings, since those can supply autofill suggestions too.
This probably isn’t a real connection between your email and your friend’s phone number. It sounds more like the browser saved your email as an autofill profile or synced it to the signed-in browser account. Open the browser’s saved addresses or autofill settings and delete your email entry. Also check whether the browser is syncing autofill data, and sign out of your account on your friend’s device if necessary.
Try clearing the saved form data and cookies for the affected sites, then test in a private window. If your email no longer appears there, the issue is local browser autofill rather than the websites linking the two pieces of information. On a shared device, create a separate browser profile for each person and disable autofill syncing between them.
