My iPhone 13 is showing a warning message that says, "Charging Not Available. Liquid has been detected in the Lightning connector. Disconnect to allow the connector to dry. Charging now may damage your iPhone." The thing is, my phone hasn't been near any liquids in weeks. I've checked my charging cable, and it's working fine since it charges my sister's phone without any issues. I've also started charging my phone from my laptop because I've been busy with coursework. I did notice that while charging, the battery percentage is actually decreasing. Any idea what's going on?

It sounds like your phone might be detecting moisture in the Lightning connector, even if you haven't been around liquids. Sometimes humidity or even sweat can trigger that warning. Try using a wireless charger for a couple of days and see if that helps. It's also possible that the sensor itself is faulty. Don't forget to check if the connector is clean and dry!
Good idea with the wireless charger; I had to do that with my phone once!
If your phone thinks the port is wet, it won’t charge properly, which might be why you're seeing the battery drain. Give it some time to dry out, or try a different power source. Some people have had luck just leaving it out in a dry spot.
I would also recommend checking for any lint or dirt in the Lightning port; that can sometimes cause weird issues too. Just be careful cleaning it!
Oh, I didn’t think of sweat being a factor! That could definitely make sense.
