Hey everyone! I'm thinking about upgrading from my old 4070 to a new 5070 Ti. My current setup has a 650W 80+ Gold PSU and a Ryzen 5600X processor. I really don't want to spend a ton of money on an AM5 CPU upgrade right now, nor do I want to replace my PSU. My main use is for VR and some flat gaming at 2560x1080p. I've calculated that my PC's expected maximum wattage usage is about 545W. Do you think my current PSU and CPU setup will be enough for the new GPU?

Honestly, I'd hold off on upgrading your GPU for now. You're in a decent spot with the 4070. Instead, consider saving up for a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM since the 5600X will bottleneck a 5070 Ti pretty significantly.
Your PSU should handle it just fine since the 5600X has a low power draw. However, don't expect a massive performance boost. At your resolution, you might see about 40% more performance max, but with the 5600X, it's more like 20-30% over the 4070, depending on the game. So, you won't get the full potential of the 5070 Ti with that CPU.
You'll likely be fine with your setup! Just for reference, I run an 850W Gold PSU with an 5800X3D and a 4090, along with a couple of NVMe drives and a bunch of fans. During gaming, everything pulls around 600W, so your 650W should handle the 5070 Ti without issue.
I get where you're coming from, but I'm really leaning more towards VR these days. Plus, even with a better CPU like the 9800X3D, I doubt I'd see a huge uplift. I'll probably do both upgrades eventually, but I can't afford to drop that cash right now.
