How can I check if my iPhone was connected to a PC for file transfers?

I woke up to find my iPhone fully charged after it was low on battery when I went to sleep. I've recently moved in with my girlfriend, and I'm worried she might have seen my password when I was entering it. When I asked if she had touched my phone, she said no. Now I'm second-guessing myself and wondering, is there any way to see if my phone was connected to a computer? And if it was, can I check if any files were transferred?

It sounds like you're feeling really uneasy about this situation. Honestly, it’s not unusual for someone to plug in a phone to charge it—hopefully, she was just being thoughtful! But on a practical level, there's no log on iPhones that shows file transfers to a PC. If you want, you can check the unlock history in Settings > Screen Time > See All Activity to see when your phone was used. It might help ease your mind a bit!

Yeah, checking the unlock history is a good idea! Just remember that even if she did use your phone, it might not mean anything suspicious. Communication is key!

From a technical standpoint, there's no direct log showing if files were transferred from your iPhone. You can check the battery usage in Settings > Battery to see if it might have been charging longer than usual, which can give you an idea of whether someone was tampering when you weren't awake.

Honestly, it sounds like you might be reading too much into this. Living with someone can be an adjustment, and feeling paranoid about your phone might not be healthy. It's perfectly normal for partners to borrow phones occasionally—at least I would find it no big deal if my girlfriend charged my phone when I was asleep. Maybe consider talking through these trust issues, rather than panicking about file transfers.

Definitely! It’s important to figure out if there are underlying trust issues, which can be addressed without jumping to conclusions.
