Which programming language should I choose in 2025: C#, Java, or Go?

I'm looking to switch programming languages in 2025 after spending three years with Python. I've noticed that Python is heavily geared towards data science and automation, but that's not the direction I'm interested in right now. I have some basic knowledge of C#, Java, and Go from college, but I'm unsure which one would offer the best job opportunities and fit for my career goals. Any advice on which language I should focus on learning?

It's tough to give a blanket answer on job opportunities since they can vary greatly by location. I recommend looking at job postings in your area to see which language has more openings. However, if you're focusing on building a strong career, Java and C# are both solid options. Each has its strengths: Java is great for stable applications like banking software, while C# is often used in game development.

That's exactly what I was thinking! I wanted to know more about how they stack up against each other for career progression. Thanks for clarifying!

If you're aiming for enterprise-level companies, you should definitely consider learning C# or Java. On the other hand, if you're thinking about startups, Go might be your best bet. Also, remember to check what languages are in demand in your area; that could steer your decision!
