Hey everyone! I'm currently using an Intel I5 13400f, and I recently upgraded to a 5070 graphics card. However, I'm noticing some performance bottlenecks in my games. Since I'm hardware locked to Intel and I'm aware that AMD is the top choice right now, I can't really afford a new motherboard or RAM at the moment. I'm considering the I9 14900k as my next step because it seems to offer performance close to AMD. My budget fits the I9 as well. What do you all think?

The I9 14900K is a solid choice, but just make sure you have a good cooling system for it. By the way, how much of a bottleneck are you actually facing? Are you gaming at 1080p?
I game at 1080p and tend to play CPU-heavy titles like Squad and Tarkov. I'm seeing CPU usage around 80-90% while my GPU is at about 30%, particularly when ray tracing is on. I'm gearing up for GTA 6 and I want it to run smoothly, ideally at ultra settings.
