I'm in the process of upgrading to Windows 11 24H2, but some users need to roll back to Windows 10 for various reasons. I've managed to go back from 23H2 to Windows 10 successfully, but the rollback from 24H2 has been failing consistently. Has anyone else experienced this, and what can I do to make it work?

I hear you! If your software needs something specific from Windows 10, that's a tough spot. In some cases, missing components like WMIC can cause issues on 24H2, so make sure all necessary features are integrated into your setup.
If you plan to roll back, check out the system settings under System -> Recovery. That’s where you should be able to initiate the rollback process.
It's funny how some folks will exhaust themselves keeping old systems running instead of just fixing the real issues. If you're stuck on Windows 10 for any reason, consider using Windows 10 LTSC 2019 for those specific cases.
Before you roll back, really look into the issues your users are facing. It's crucial, especially since Windows 10 is reaching its end of life soon! Are these problems fixable? It might be worth it to tackle those instead of rolling back.
We looked into it, but it seems like software compatibility is the main issue here. The vendor assured us everything was fine, but users are experiencing significant performance hits. We need a temporary rollback until they get it sorted out.
