My cousin is selling his gaming PC to me for $450 since he's upgrading to a new one. The specs include a Ryzen 7 2700x CPU, B450 AORUS PRO ATX motherboard, a generic ARGB tower cooler, 16GB of DDR4 Trident Z RAM, a 1TB SSD, a 252GB SSD, and a 2TB HDD. It also has an RTX 2080 Super GPU and a 650w 80+ Gold power supply. I'm wondering if this setup is worth the price he's asking. What do you think?

Not a steal, but definitely a decent price. If I were you, I'd try to negotiate it down to $400 if possible since that would help with any future upgrades you might want to do.

The 2080 Super alone is probably worth around $200-250. It should handle most games at 1080p well. If you're okay with that resolution, you'll be fine.

It can even do 1440p without issues! I still use my 1080ti and get great performance on a 5k ultrawide.

I don't think it's a bad deal, but the CPU is quite old. The 2080 Super is still a decent graphics card, though. You might want to think about upgrading the CPU later.

Is the CPU and GPU pairing bad? Will there be a significant bottleneck?

Honestly, it's a solid PC. Just make sure you check the RAM speed; that can make a difference in performance.

It's 3200mhz CL 16.

I looked up the prices of the parts and they seem to add up well. The CPU and GPU together might be around $250-300, so for $450 that's not a bad price.
