I'm in a bit of a bind here. I save all my passwords using the Notes app, but recently I tried to delete an account linked to my Apple ID and realized I can't access my Apple ID emails because I think I've got the wrong password. When I try to reset it, I only get options to enter a phone number and the password for my old device, which is now being used by my mom under her own Apple ID. I even tried her phone's password, but it didn't work. I can log into accounts linked to my Apple ID using Face ID, but I can't find the correct password anywhere in my password manager. I'm really stuck and not sure what to do next.

Account recovery can be a hassle. If you've initiated that, make sure you have access to the recovery email. If you're getting the email password wrong even in your notes, it's tough. Maybe look for clues in your other apps or browser history? Sometimes those old logins can jog your memory.
Yeah, I tried that, but nothing looks familiar. I really hope this works out.
When you try to reset your password, make sure to enter the phone number associated with your old Apple ID. If you don't have access to your mom's phone, there's usually an option saying you don't have access. Scroll down the reset page to find it. That way, you can specify an alternative contact method.
I tried my mom's number, but it said it was wrong and led me to account recovery instead.
If you're at the account recovery step, they will send you an email to the address linked to your Apple ID. But if you can't access your email because the password there is also wrong, that makes it tricky. You might need to wait for the email or try to recover that account too.
I totally get it. It feels chaotic, but hang in there! Keep checking your recovery options.
