I'm upgrading my setup from an Athlon 3000G with integrated graphics to an R5 4600G. I'm planning to get a new CPU and PSU first, but I'm stuck on which GPU to choose between the RX 6500 XT and GTX 1650, especially since I have a budget of around $140 to $150 (or Rp 2.4 million to 2.5 million). I've heard mixed reviews about the RX 6500 XT, and I'm curious about the reason behind its reputation. Can anyone provide a recommendation?

The RX 6500 XT is indeed faster than the GTX 1650, but it has major drawbacks. It's overpriced for what it offers, and you can find used cards like the GTX 1070 that outperform it for a similar price. Plus, with just 4GB of VRAM, it struggles with modern games on high settings. Honestly, you might be better off waiting and getting a dedicated GPU first, then upgrade to an R5 5600 later for better support.
About the RX 6500 XT being a bad GPU—it's significantly cheaper than the RX 6600 but offers really poor performance (like half). If you can save a bit more for something better, it might be worth it!
Should I really save? In my country, it's about 228-240 bucks.
Honestly, don't even consider the RX 6500 XT; it's not worth it, especially in a PCI-E 3.0 setup like yours. You'd be much better off with something else.
Sounds terrible! So, what should I actually pick?
I have an A320M Colorful motherboard, so I’m not sure if it supports Zen 3. Should I go for a GTX 1070 Ti or stick with the GTX 1650? The 1070 Ti seems hard to find.
