Hey everyone! It's been quite a while since I built my own computer—around 14 years, to be exact. I'm looking to dive back in and would love some recommendations on what components to buy. I plan to use it primarily for gaming and remote work, and I have a budget of about $4,000. I'm leaning towards a full tower setup. I'd really appreciate it if you could share your builds or suggestions. Thanks!

Check out this link for a solid parts list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NyvVyW. Using a site like PCPartPicker can really help you pick out components based on your budget and preferences. Just start with high-end options and adjust from there based on availability and price. Good luck!
Before we dive into specifics, it would be helpful to know a bit more about what you need. Are you focused on gaming, heavy workloads, or a mix of both? Also, keep in mind your location and any preferences for form factor, like whether you want a full tower or something smaller. It helps narrow down the options!
Just to give you a quick overview of the current scene: When it comes to CPUs, AMD is killing it right now, especially for gaming, while Intel has fallen behind in efficiency and upgrade options. Nvidia leads the GPU market with their powerful but pricey cards; AMD has competitive options if you want to save some cash. For storage, ditch the HDDs; go for an SSD or even better, an M.2 NVME SSD for speed. I recommend at least 16GB of RAM in a 2x8GB setup to keep things smooth! You’ll want at least 512GB of storage too.
Thanks for breaking that down! I'm glad to hear about AMD's resurgence—I'll definitely stick to Nvidia for graphics. I’m currently on a Mac with 8GB RAM, and it's pretty painful for gaming!
I'll be doing gaming and remote work. Full tower setup will work best for me.
