I'm putting together my first PC, and I'm trying to make a tough decision about the CPU. I've already picked a 9070XT for my GPU, but I'm unsure whether it's worth spending 112% more in my local currency for the 7800x3d over the 7600. I'm considering whether I should just go with the 7600 now and plan to upgrade in a year when new options come out. I also noted that the 7600x3d isn't available, and the 9600x seems like a minor upgrade for the extra cost. Any suggestions or alternative options?

Honestly, if you have the 9070XT, jumping to the 7800x3d might be better for future-proofing, but if you go with the 7600 now, you'll still get decent performance without breaking the bank. Also, if upgrading later, the 7800 or 9800x3d are dropping in price, making them more appealing.
I have a 7600 with a similar GPU setup at 4K. It's been able to maintain high frame rates for most games. Unless you have something like a 240hz monitor, I'd say go for the 7600 and you can always sell it later when you decide to upgrade.
If you can wait, it might be worth it to hold out for the newer chips that are coming—they should give you better performance and bang for your buck in the long run.
If you're gaming mainly at 1080p and want the highest frame rates, the 7800x3d is definitely gonna boost your performance compared to the 7600. However, if you're planning to game at 1440p or 4K, the 7600 should serve you just fine.
I'm looking at 1440x3440 resolution. So you think I should lean towards the 7600?
Sounds like a solid plan, and I agree with you on the resale value!
