I'm planning to buy my first gaming PC and I'm looking for something that can handle smooth gaming at 1080p or even 1440p without breaking the bank. Here's the breakdown of the components I'm considering:
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600X – $151
- **Motherboard:** Gigabyte B550I Aorus Pro AX – $168
- **RAM:** G.Skill Ripjaws V 2x8GB 3200MHz DDR4 – $35
- **Case:** Fractal Terra (Mini-ITX) – $221
- **PSU:** Lian-Li SP750 (750W) – $151
- **CPU Cooler:** Noctua NH-L9a-AM4 – $55
- **Case Fan:** Noctua NF-A12x15 PWM – $30
- **SSD:** WD Black SN770 1TB (M.2 2280) – $76
- **GPU:** ASUS GeForce RTX 4060 DUAL OC EVO (8GB) – $337
Total cost comes to around $1,224. I'm specifically concerned about whether the parts, especially the case, are worth it or if there are better alternatives. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, and have a great day!

Nice build! Just checked the link you provided, and while it looks good, it's a bit pricier than what I'd consider. You might be able to get similar performance for $500 less if you optimize your parts for pricing.
You might want to consider getting a cheaper case; I picked up the Hyte Revolt 3 for $100. With the money you save, you could upgrade to a 7500F (they're around $130 on AliExpress) and a B650I motherboard with 32GB of DDR5-6000 RAM. This small investment will actually give you a better overall build for a similar total cost if the case is cheaper. Oh, and definitely rethink that PSU; it's not the best option out there. Check out the PSU tier list to find something rated B tier or higher for better safety.
I think you're on the right track but skip the 4060 for a better GPU. It’s not the most powerful right now. A cheaper case and PSU can give you more room to invest in a higher-performing graphics card, which will impact your gaming experience much more than the case.
