How can I stop Windows 11 from automatically reinstalling certain apps?

I've just set up a fresh Windows 11 installation on a new computer, and I'm having a frustrating issue. Every day, the same three third-party apps keep reinstalling themselves without any prompting. These apps aren't harmful, but they're totally unnecessary for me. I've tried turning off auto-updates for the Microsoft Store and even paused Windows updates, but nothing seems to work. Is there a way to stop these unwanted apps from coming back?

Could you tell us which apps are reinstalling? Also, are you logged in as an administrator? Sometimes, certain permissions can affect what you can control on your system.

Check your Task Manager under the Startup tab. Look for anything that's trying to run an installer—there might be something sneaky there. You should also take a peek at Task Scheduler for any scheduled tasks that could be reinstalling those apps.
