Hey everyone! I'm gearing up to upgrade my PC primarily for **The Witcher 4** and **GTA 6**. Although neither game is out yet, I'm curious about whether my current setup will be sufficient to run them smoothly at **1080p**. I'd appreciate your insights on what aspects of my build might need upgrading first.

**Here's what I'm working with:**
- **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
- **GPU:** ZOTAC GAMING GEFORCE RTX 3050 ECO 8 GB
- **Motherboard:** ASRock B450M Steel Legend
- **RAM:** 2x16GB TEAM ELITE PLUS DDR4 3200MHz CL22
- **Case + PSU:** XIGMATEK HERO II AIR + Z-POWER II Z750 (600W)
- **Storage:** TEAM M.2 MP33 PRO 512GB (Gen3), TEAM SSD EX2 512GB (SATA), WD HDD Blue 1TB 7200 RPM
- **Monitor:** Samsung S24E450 (1080p)
- **Peripherals:** Mouse: Gamdias ZEUS M4, Keyboard: MEETION C510, Headset: JBL QUANTUM 100, Speaker: NJSJ Mini PC Speaker, Webcam: Rapoo C200 HD (720p)

If you're okay without DLSS, the RX 6750 XT might be a good pick, assuming your PSU can handle it. You could also consider the 4060 Ti for DLSS support, but it might feel disappointing going from 8GB to another 8GB card.

I’m also thinking about the 5060 Ti 16 GB when it drops to a better price.

Just a heads up, neither game is likely to be out until at least 2027 or 2028, so you have time to plan your upgrades!

I'd recommend upgrading to a 3070. Your current RTX 3050 might only manage about 45 fps on medium settings for those games.

Thanks for the suggestion!

Your GPU is the main bottleneck. I'd suggest looking into used RX 6700XT or 6800XT cards, or if you're set on new, check out the RX 7600XT (16GB).

I've mainly used Nvidia cards. Do you think the 5060 Ti 16 GB will be a solid choice when prices stabilize?

It's hard to predict the exact requirements for these games. For 1080p, I’d lean toward getting a 5070 Ti or 5070. If you're open to used cards, options like the 6800/6800 XT/6900 XT or even a 3080 would be excellent for 1080p and can handle 1440p too.
