Hi everyone! I'm a fourth-year Software Engineering student from Gaza. Lately, I've been self-studying Python and JavaScript and solving basic problems on Codewars, but I feel like I've hit a plateau. The local resources and mentorship opportunities are pretty limited here, which makes it tough to progress.
I'm eager to enhance my skills and reach my full potential, but I'm a bit lost on what steps to take next. If anyone has suggestions for a roadmap or effective next steps, I'd really appreciate it! I'm particularly interested in advanced topics, gaining real-world experience, or collaborating on open-source projects.
Thanks so much for your help!

Joining an online hackathon could be a great move! They often connect you with others and provide real project experience. Plus, it’s a good way to network and might help you figure out your path. Some even offer cash prizes if you do well!
Have you thought about diving into some good books? There are plenty on data structures and algorithms that could help you strengthen your fundamentals. If you're interested, I can recommend a few!
Not the OP, but I'd love to know too! Are the books digital or physical?
